These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and Drave for access to the website, apps, booking tools, and related services. Please read them before using Drave.
Check before booking
Review the trip, vehicle, route, price, timing, and any special conditions shown before confirmation.
Handover safely
Share vehicle access carefully, document its condition, and return all keys or access items promptly.
Act responsibly
Follow traffic law, communicate clearly, respect others, and never use Drave for an unsafe or illegal purpose.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, submitting a form, booking a driver, applying to drive, or otherwise using Drave, you agree to these Terms of Service and the policies referenced in them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You confirm that you have legal capacity to enter into these terms. If you use Drave for another person or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to act for that person or organisation and agree to their obligations under these terms.
These terms apply to the service from time to time. Additional conditions shown for a particular trip, location, or programme may also apply and are incorporated into the booking where permitted by law.
2. The Drave service
Drave helps customers request professional driving services for their own vehicles. Depending on the available programme, Drave may provide access to a booking interface, communicate trip information, coordinate a driver assignment, and support the journey.
Drave does not guarantee that the service will be available at a particular time, location, price, or vehicle standard. Availability can depend on factors such as city coverage, driver supply, vehicle eligibility, weather, traffic, law, safety, and operational needs.
Separate booking terms
If a booking confirmation, receipt, account screen, or trip notice states additional conditions, those conditions apply to that booking in addition to these terms. If a term is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent needed and the remaining terms will continue.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement and comply with the law where the service is used. Drivers must also hold every licence, permit, registration, and other authorisation required for their role and operating area.
You must provide accurate registration, contact, vehicle, and journey information. You are responsible for keeping login details confidential and for activity that occurs through your account unless the activity was unauthorised and reported promptly.
Drave may request additional information reasonably needed to verify identity, ownership, authority, vehicle eligibility, safety, or payment. Failure to provide required information may prevent a booking or application from proceeding.
4. Requests, bookings, and changes
A booking request is not a confirmed trip until the relevant Drave channel confirms it. Before departure, review the pickup point, destination, date, time, vehicle, passenger count, estimated fare, driver information, and any other trip details displayed.
You should remain available to receive trip updates and respond to time-sensitive messages. If your contact number is unavailable or incorrect, the driver may be unable to complete the handover safely.
Cancellation and trip changes
Cancellation deadlines, fees, and available changes depend on the booking and the options shown before or after confirmation. A cancellation or change is effective only when acknowledged through the relevant Drave channel unless applicable law states otherwise.
If a customer or driver causes a missed trip, the applicable no-show, waiting, cancellation, or recovery charge may apply only to the extent disclosed or otherwise permitted by law.
5. Customer responsibilities
As the customer or vehicle owner, you agree to:
- provide a lawful, roadworthy, clean, and suitable vehicle and confirm the correct make, model, fuel or charging needs, and access method;
- hold or obtain the owner’s permission and all approvals needed to provide the vehicle;
- maintain valid registration, insurance, tax, fitness, and other legally required vehicle coverage;
- be present to hand over the vehicle and return all keys or access items unless an approved option allows otherwise;
- ensure the number, age, and behaviour of passengers is safe and lawful;
- provide accurate luggage, accessibility, child-seat, route, and special-requirement information;
- follow instructions that are reasonable for vehicle safety and timely journey completion; and
- remove valuables, confidential documents, keys not required for the trip, and sensitive personal data from the vehicle before handover.
6. Driver responsibilities
A driver participating in the service agrees to:
- hold valid and current driving, commercial, vehicle, and other approvals required by law;
- drive safely, sober, and in full compliance with traffic and safety laws;
- present identification and vehicle information accurately and participate in required checks;
- use only authorised vehicles, maintain them in a roadworthy condition, and keep required insurance valid;
- follow the agreed route, customer safety instructions, and lawful instructions from authorised platform personnel;
- protect customer data, keys, documents, personal items, and the vehicle during the handover and journey;
- avoid discrimination, harassment, threats, unsafe passenger conduct, and unauthorised private arrangements; and
- report accidents, injuries, vehicle damage, suspicious activity, or other material events promptly through the appropriate channel.
A driver may refuse or stop a journey when reasonably necessary to protect safety, law, privacy, the vehicle, or any person. Any resulting charge or refund must follow the disclosed booking terms and applicable law.
7. Vehicle handover and condition
Vehicle access must be handed over only to the person identified in the booking. Where the platform provides a digital handover or inspection feature, use it consistently. If no digital record is available, keep clear photographs, notes, or other evidence of the vehicle’s pre-trip condition.
The customer and driver must use reasonable care for the vehicle and must not alter, misuse, or expose it to unnecessary risk. Fuel or charging arrangements follow the booking or app instructions.
Keys, access cards, identity documents, and other handover items must be returned immediately after the journey. Drave’s involvement in a handover does not transfer ownership or replace the owner’s responsibility for maintenance, legal coverage, or roadworthiness.
Prioritise personal safety and contact local emergency services when needed. Then contact Drave support promptly and preserve the vehicle, trip, and communication records.
8. Prices, payment, and refunds
The price shown for a trip may include a base fare, distance, time, waiting, booking, toll, or other disclosed components. The final amount may change when a booked route, waiting time, or additional service changes, provided such variation is disclosed or otherwise permitted.
Payment must be made through the authorised channel using a payment method you are allowed to use. You are responsible for accurate payment information and for promptly resolving failed, reversed, or declined transactions.
Refunds are processed to the original payment method or another method permitted by law. Processing times can vary depending on your payment provider. We may withhold a refund where evidence indicates fraud, theft, repeated misuse, or a material breach, but only to the extent allowed by applicable law.
Do not share passwords, PINs, one-time codes, or full payment card details. Drave will not request those authentication details by phone, SMS, email, or chat.
9. Safety, conduct, and prohibited use
Every participant must act reasonably, lawfully, and respectfully. Prohibited conduct includes:
- driving or travelling while impaired, distracted, or unfit to do so;
- unsafe speed, dangerous manoeuvres, phone misuse, seat-belt violations, or child-safety violations;
- harassment, threats, stalking, discrimination, sexual misconduct, or violence;
- using a false identity, unauthorised vehicle, invalid document, or fraudulent payment method;
- carrying illegal goods, weapons, or materials where possession is prohibited;
- unauthorised recording, surveillance, publicity, or sharing of another person’s personal information;
- attempting to bypass platform controls, ratings, safety checks, pricing, or payments; and
- using the service for an unlawful purpose or directing the driver to an unsafe or unlawful activity.
Drave may take reasonable action to protect people, vehicles, or the service, including limiting access, declining a request, cancelling a trip, suspending an account, preserving relevant records, or reporting matters to authorities where required.
10. Intellectual property and user content
The Drave name, brand, software, interfaces, documentation, and software features are owned by Drave or its rights holders. These terms grant a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the service for its intended purpose.
You retain rights in information and content you provide, subject to applicable law. You give Drave a limited right to host, process, transmit, and display that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service. You must not submit content that infringes another person’s rights or violates the law.
11. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We cannot promise that it will always be uninterrupted, completely accurate, error-free, or available in every location.
Nothing in the service replaces a valid driving licence, vehicle registration, insurance, inspection, mechanic assessment, emergency assistance, or any duty imposed by law. Information provided through the service does not constitute legal, insurance, tax, or mechanical advice.
12. Liability and indemnification
Each participant is responsible for acts, omissions, vehicles, property, and obligations arising from their use of the service to the extent permitted by law. You agree to indemnify relevant parties for losses caused by your unlawful conduct, material breach, gross negligence, or wilful misconduct, where lawful and appropriate.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Drave and its relevant personnel or service providers are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss that is not reasonably foreseeable, or for loss caused by a customer or driver, unauthorised vehicle use, unlawful activity, or events outside reasonable control.
No disclaimer or limitation applies where it would exclude fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that applicable law does not permit the parties to exclude.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. Drave may restrict or suspend access, with or without notice, when reasonably necessary to address a security threat, fraud, unsafe conduct, legal requirement, serious breach, or valid support or authority request.
Where appropriate, Drave may preserve relevant records and work with authorities. Suspension does not remove responsibility for charges already incurred, vehicle return, confidentiality, or other obligations that should continue after access ends.
14. Events outside reasonable control
Drave is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, public-health events, war, civil unrest, infrastructure failures, government action, or other circumstances that reasonably prevent safe or lawful service.
When possible, Drave may offer a suitable alternative, reschedule, cancel, or refund affected bookings according to the displayed terms and applicable law.
15. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the service or legal requirements change. The effective date will be revised, and material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel when required. The version accepted for a confirmed booking continues to apply to that booking unless a change is required by law or the parties agree otherwise.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are interpreted in accordance with the law that applies where the relevant service or journey is provided. Mandatory consumer protections and rights under local law remain unaffected.
Before starting formal proceedings, contact support and attempt to resolve the concern through the booking-specific process. The correct court, tribunal, or other dispute forum depends on the location and applicable law and will be identified in the relevant booking or legal notice.
17. Entire terms and severability
These terms, referenced policies, and trip-specific conditions form the agreement for the relevant use of Drave. If a provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
A delay in enforcing a right does not remove that right. A waiver must be in writing and applies only to the specific situation for which it is given.
18. Contact Drave
For questions about bookings, drivers, payments, safety, privacy, or these terms, visit the Drave support centre. Include the relevant booking or application reference, but never send passwords, one-time codes, or complete payment card details.
