YOUR DATA, EXPLAINED

Privacy you can understand.

See what information Drave collects, why it is used, who may receive it, and the choices available to you when using our website and services.

Privacy policy Effective

Drave respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information may be collected when you visit this website, request early access, apply to drive, use a booking service, or contact support.

01

Purpose limited

Information is used to operate, secure, improve, and support the service rather than for unrelated purposes.

02

Trip-aware sharing

Limited information may be shared with a driver or other party only when needed to fulfil the journey.

03

Your choices

You may request access, correction, deletion, or consent changes where applicable to local law.

1. Scope of this policy

This policy applies to personal information processed for the Drave website, early-access forms, driver applications, booking and customer support workflows, and related communications. Drave is presented as a Bombo Tech product.

Independent services linked from the website, including payment providers, mapping services, or other third parties, may process information under their own privacy policies. Read those notices before using an external service.

2. Information we collect

The information collected depends on how you interact with Drave and what is required to provide the service.

Information provided by others

A driver, passenger, vehicle owner, or other authorised person may provide a contact detail, arrival information, destination, trip reference, or relevant incident information. Information may also come from identity, licence, vehicle registration, sanctions, safety, or fraud-check providers where those checks are used.

3. How we use information

Personal information may be used to:

  • create or manage an account, waitlist request, booking, driver application, or support case;
  • match customers with suitable vehicles and drivers and communicate trip instructions;
  • calculate, authorise, process, reconcile, and refund charges;
  • verify identity, licence, vehicle, address, or other eligibility information when relevant;
  • provide updates, assistance, safety tools, and service notices;
  • protect users, drivers, vehicles, and the service from fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • diagnose faults, understand feature use, and improve reliability and user experience;
  • comply with legal obligations, lawful requests, and enforceable disputes.
Consent is not always required

Some processing is necessary to provide a requested booking or meet a legal obligation. Where consent is required, you may withdraw it at any time, although withdrawal can affect whether a feature or service remains available.

4. When information may be shared

Drave may share the minimum information reasonably needed for the following purposes:

  • Trip fulfilment: with the assigned driver, passenger, vehicle owner, and other participants needed to arrange or complete the journey.
  • Service providers: with hosting, communications, mapping, payment, identity, analytics, customer support, security, and verification providers that process information for defined purposes.
  • Safety and security: with relevant parties when needed to investigate an incident, prevent harm, protect accounts, or enforce acceptable-use rules.
  • Legal requirements: with regulators, police, courts, or others where disclosure is required or permitted by applicable law.
  • Business events: in connection with a reorganisation, merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring, or transfer of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality safeguards.

Drave does not share complete payment card details with drivers. Information is shared only to the extent required for the relevant purpose and with appropriate controls.

5. Retention, security, and accuracy

Information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Retention may be longer where needed to resolve disputes, investigate incidents, maintain legal or tax records, comply with law, enforce agreements, or protect the rights and safety of people using the service.

Drave uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information. Access is limited to people and providers who need it for legitimate purposes. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please use unique passwords and protect access to your devices and email.

You are encouraged to provide current and accurate information. You can request a correction when stored information is incomplete or inaccurate, subject to applicable exceptions.

6. Cookies and local technologies

The website may use essential cookies or browser storage to maintain security, remember preferences, support form operation, and understand basic service performance. If optional analytics, advertising, or other non-essential technologies are introduced, this policy and any required consent controls should be updated before they are used.

Your browser may offer controls to remove cookies or clear site storage. Disabling essential technologies can affect website or sign-in functionality.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may have the right to:

  • request access to or a copy of personal information held by Drave;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • request deletion or restriction of processing in applicable circumstances;
  • withdraw consent and object to certain processing where consent or legitimate interests apply;
  • receive certain information in a portable or machine-readable format where required;
  • nominate another person to exercise eligible rights, where the applicable law provides for it;
  • raise a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.

To make a request, visit the support centre and choose the privacy topic. We may ask for information needed to verify identity and protect your account. We will not discriminate against you for making a lawful privacy request.

8. Children’s information

The Drave service is intended for adults who can lawfully use it and enter into the relevant agreements. Drave does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children below the applicable legal age without appropriate authorisation. If you believe a child has provided information improperly, contact support.

9. International transfers

Information may be processed in countries other than the country where it was collected when service providers or Drave personnel operate in different locations. Where required, appropriate contractual, consent, or other legal safeguards are used for cross-border transfers.

10. Policy updates

This policy may change when the service, providers, data practices, or legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated, and material changes may be communicated through the website, app, or another appropriate channel where required.

11. Contact and related information

For privacy questions or requests, visit the Drave support centre. Do not include a password, full payment card number, one-time code, or unnecessary identity document in your first message.
