Frequently asked questions

Choose a topic or search the answers below.

Is Drave available in my city?

Availability changes by city and programme. Check the app or contact support with your city. Being on an early-access list does not by itself confirm launch timing or service availability.

What information should I keep for a booking?

Keep the booking or application reference, trip date and time, pickup details, vehicle number, and the relevant messages. Do not share passwords, one-time codes, or complete payment card details.

Can I change or cancel a booking?

Use the change or cancellation option in the app or booking screen when available. The deadline and any fee depend on the booking. A change is complete only when the Drave channel confirms it.

How do I know when my driver has arrived?

Keep your phone available for the trip notification and use the app’s contact or arrival details. At handover, confirm the driver or vehicle against the information shown in the booking before releasing access.

What if my driver is delayed?

Check the live booking status and contact the driver or support using the in-app option. Any waiting-time treatment follows the fare and cancellation terms shown for your booking and applicable law.

Does the driver use my own car?

Yes. Drave is designed around professional drivers taking customers in their own vehicles. You must own the car or have the owner’s permission, and you remain responsible for its legal and roadworthy condition.

How should I share keys or vehicle access?

Provide only the access required for the agreed journey, confirm the person receiving it, and keep the handover brief. Return keys, cards, and documents promptly after the trip. A digital handover may be required where offered.

What if the vehicle is damaged?

Prioritise safety and contact the appropriate emergency services if anyone is hurt. Report the incident and damage through the Drave channel promptly, and keep clear trip, vehicle, and message records.

What should I do after an accident?

Stop safely, protect yourself and others, and contact local emergency services when needed. Do not move anyone who may be seriously injured unless required for safety. Then contact Drave support and preserve all relevant records.

What if I leave an item in the vehicle?

Contact support immediately with the trip reference and a description of the item. Do not share sensitive information publicly. The service team will verify available information and explain the next step.

What do I need to apply as a driver?

You generally need valid identity, driving and commercial authorisations, a suitable roadworthy vehicle, registration and insurance, and access to any required verification. Exact requirements can vary by city and programme.

Do I need to own the car I drive?

Vehicle arrangements can differ by city and operating model. State the vehicle and ownership arrangement truthfully in your application; the onboarding team will confirm the applicable option before activation.

How can I check my driver application?

Use the application reference included in your submission and contact support with the applicant’s registered phone number or email. Additional checks or documents may be required before the application can proceed.

How do I request my personal information?

Visit the support contact and choose a privacy request. Include enough detail to locate your account, booking, or application. We may ask for reasonable identity verification before completing the request.

Can I stop marketing or non-essential messages?

You can opt out through the available communication preference or support request. Operational messages about a booking, application, security, or legal update may still be needed while your request is active.

How are fares and refunds handled?

The fare and its components are shown during booking. Changes to route, waiting time, cancellations, or other disclosed factors may affect the final amount. Eligible refunds are returned through the authorised payment channel.

Can I pay a driver in cash?

Only use payment methods shown for the booking. Drave will not ask you to share a PIN, one-time code, or complete card details. If a payment request differs from the booking screen, stop and contact support.

Trip and booking support

For a booking issue, share the booking reference, trip date, pickup location, and a short description of what happened. Check the current trip status first so support can understand whether the journey is upcoming, active, or complete.

Driver application support

For an application issue, use the registered contact details and application reference. Do not email identity documents unless Drave specifically requests them through an approved secure process.
